The frame is powder-coated aluminium, and aluminium cannot rust, meaning you can leave it outside all year round without the usual steel-frame worries. Steel frames tend to corrode from the inside out because moisture gets into joints and bolt holes where coatings can’t fully protect them. By the time you see rust outside, the frame is already weakening. The rattan is UV-stabilised HDPE (high-density polyethylene) rather than PVC, so it keeps its shape better in sun exposure instead of going brittle after a couple of summers.

The back cushions are 10cm thick, which matters more than people think — thinner 6-8cm cushions usually feel alright at first, then flatten after 30-40 minutes. All you need to do is store the cushions when you’re not using them. They’re not waterproof by design. The covers come off and can be machine washed at 30C.
