The frame is powder-coated aluminium, so it cannot rust, meaning you can leave it outside all year round with no cover needed for the frame or rattan. Steel-frame sets corrode from the inside out, usually around joints and bolt holes where moisture gets in first. By the time rust shows externally, the internal structure is already weakened. This one doesn’t have that problem. The weave is UV-stabilised HDPE rattan, which is built for outdoor use. Unlike PVC rattan on cheaper sets, HDPE holds its shape and doesn’t go brittle and crack after repeated hot summers.

You get one reclining 3 seater sofa, two reclining armchairs, two stools, and a height-adjustable table topped with 5mm clear tempered safety glass. Tempered safety glass handles British temperature swings without cracking — where standard glass can struggle in frost. Cushions are included too, and they’re 9cm thick — enough support for a long sit, not just the first half hour. We only sell reclining sets because life is too short to perch in rigid chairs.

The care is straightforward. All you need to do is store the cushions away when you’re not using them, because they’re not waterproof by design. waterproof cushions feel clammy, trap heat, and the coating tends to crack after a couple of summers in UV. The cushion covers can be removed and machine washed at 30°C, while the frame and rattan can be wiped down or rinsed clean.
